Moab 240 - 166 Miles Up High (Video 6/10)

I’ve been dreading the section ahead.

It’s the highest (we get above 10,000 ft), and although we finally get a break from the incessant dirt roads to run what should be dreamy single track trail among the golden-leaved aspens, it’s supposed to be the toughest section on the course. To make matters worse, I’m hitting it at nightfall, exactly when I’d hoped NOT to. Dark, extra cold with the altitude, and tough.

Plus, I've already covered 166 miles.

You can see me stalling in the last bit of sun before I end the video and at the same time, digging up the determination I need to get going. There will be no quitting and I'll need it for what’s ahead.
